 HOW TO COOK A BACON AND EGG SANDWICH

USING THE VELOCITY GRILL

INGREDIENTS

6 ENGLISH MUFFINS 6-12 EGGS (DEPENDING ON STYLE) 12 BACON STRIPS 6 SLICES OF YOUR FAVORITE CHEESE 1 FRYING PAN
 

STEP BY STEP

 

Step 1: Get the Velocity Grill started at the SEAR level for 2-3 minutes.

Step 2: Starting with the bacon, add your bacon to your frying pan - 12 INCH PREFERRED - and place on the grilling surface. Cook until they are crisped to your liking.

Step 3: When the bacon are ready, remove them from the pan and place them onto a plate with a paper towel on it to soak up extra grease.

Step 4: Remove the grease from the frying pan so that it can be used for the eggs. 

- At this time, also change the heat down to MEDIUM-HIGH

Step 5: Wait for a few minutes until the pan gets warm again and then add your eggs to the frying pan.

- For scrambled eggs, it will take longer to cook - tossing them as needed until done.

- For fried eggs, place 1-2 at the most at a time. Turning the eggs after 2 minutes on the first side and then an additional 2 minutes until done.

Step 6: Remove the eggs from the pan and place onto tinfoil to keep warm. While sitting, apply the slices of cheese to the eggs and let them warm for 30 seconds to 1 minute. 

Step 7: Place the muffin, then the eggs with the cheese, and finally the 2 strips of bacon per muffin.
