WOOD TYPE | PREP TIME | COOK TIME | SERVES |
APPLE | 5 MINUTES | 15-20 MINUTES | 6 |
INGREDIENTS |
6 PINEAPPLE RINGS | 6 PORK CHOPS | OLIVE OIL | SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE | 1 CUP BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE OR TERIYAKI SAUCE |
STEP BY STEP |
Step 1: Pre-Heat the Velocity Grill on SEAR for 5 minutes.
- After five minutes, make sure to add 1-2 more chunks of wood so that the heat is perfect when you start cooking.
Step 2: Prepare your pork chops by adding a thin coat of olive oil along with some salt and pepper - to taste.
Step 3: Place the pork chops evenly on the grilling surface and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side with the lid off. (Add more time for thicker cuts of meat)
Step 4: Once the pork chops are cooked through, take them off the grill and place them on a plate and cover with foil to keep them from drying out during the sitting process.
Step 5: Add another chunk of wood and then place your pineapple rings straight on the grilling surface. This will give them sensational flavor. Flip them in 1 minute intervals until they start to brown and then place one on top of each of the pork chops.
Step 6: To top it all off, you will add the balsamic vinaigrette or teriyaki sauce to the top of the pineapple+pork chop combo!
Step 7: Enjoy!
