PINEAPPLE SHRIMP KABOBS

 HOW TO COOK PINEAPPLE SHRIMP KABOBS

USING THE VELOCITY GRILL

INGREDIENTS

2 LBS SHRIMP OF YOUR CHOICE 1 - 16OZ CAN OF PINEAPPLE RINGS BUTTER OR VEGETABLE OIL SPICE OF YOUR CHOOSING 12-16 WOODEN SKEWERS
 

STEP BY STEP

 

Step 1: Put the wooden skewers into water while you are preparing the shrimp and pineapple. (This will keep them from catching on fire while cooking)

- At this time, also get the grill started and set to MEDIUM to MEDIUM-HIGH to make sure the grill will be at the right temperature by the time you are ready.

Step 2: Take your shrimp and give them a quick rinse and set them out to dry. (Per preference, this would be a good time to de-shell the tails)

Step 3: While the shrimp are drying, get the pineapple cut into chunks big enough to skewer.

Step 4: Once the shrimp are dry, cover every surface of the shrimp with butter and the spice you selected. (We selected a simple Asian spice for our shrimp)

Step 5: When the shrimp and pineapple are ready, you can start to skewer them together alternating the shrimp and pineapple.

Step 6: With the skewers now prepared, you can place them on the Velocity Grill, flipping them every 1-2 minutes for a total of 10-12 minutes.

Step 7: The completed skewers should be put onto a plate for a minute before serving.

Step 8: Enjoy!
