USING THE VELOCITY GRILL

STEP BY STEP
Step 1: Open steaks and let them sit out in room temperature for 30 minutes.
Step 2: When ready to cook, get the Velocity Grill started and move the dial to "SEAR."
Step 3: Give the VELOCITY GRILL 5 minutes to heat up to the appropriate temperature.
Step 4: During these 5 minutes, start preparing your steak by:
(1) patting the steak dry with a paper towel
(2) brushing olive oil onto both sides of your steaks
(3) applying salt and pepper generously to both sides of your steaks
(4) adding any other spices to flavor your meat
Step 5: Place the steaks on the grill and lightly tap down onto the grate to ensure good contact with the grilling surface. Keep the lid off during cooking - unless you prefer extremely smokey flavor.
Step 6: Leave the steaks for 3-7 minutes on each side depending on the thickness of the steaks.
Step 7: Depending on preference, you can turn the grill down to a lower temperature to cook further, flipping the steaks in 1 minute intervals.
Step 8: Remove the steaks from the grilling surface and place on a plate for 5-10 minutes to rest depending on thickness.
